EarlyWise ("EarlyWise", "we", "us", or "our") is a job-application tracking and AI-assisted analysis tool operated by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME], an individual trading as EarlyWise, based in Auckland, New Zealand. By creating an account or using EarlyWise, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
EarlyWise lets you track job applications, store interview notes, and purchase optional AI Credits to generate AI-assisted job risk analysis ("AI Analysis") and interview preparation questions ("Prep Questions"). AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude models via API. Outputs are generated automatically based on information you provide (such as job descriptions) and are for informational purposes only — they are not professional, legal, financial or career advice, and EarlyWise does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use EarlyWise.
EarlyWise sells one-time packs of AI Credits (currently 10 credits for $3 USD) usable toward AI Analysis or Prep Questions, in any combination. By purchasing, you authorize a single, one-time charge to your selected payment method for the stated amount. AI Credit purchases are one-time purchases — they are not a subscription and do not auto-renew. Payments are processed by Waffo (Pancake), our payment processor; EarlyWise does not collect or store your card details.
All AI Credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where:
(a) you were charged more than once for the same purchase (a duplicate charge); or
(b) a technical failure on EarlyWise's part caused credits not to be delivered to your account after a successful payment.
In either case, contact support@getearlywise.com within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and issue a refund or credit where appropriate. Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand), or equivalent law in your jurisdiction, which cannot be excluded by agreement. There is no recurring subscription to cancel — each purchase is a single, one-time transaction.
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact support@getearlywise.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, so we can resolve the issue directly.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g. job descriptions, notes). By submitting content, you grant EarlyWise a limited license to process it through our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) solely to generate the output you requested. AI-generated output is provided "as is", may contain errors or omissions, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any employment, legal, or financial decision.
You agree not to: use EarlyWise for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access another user's account or data; submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its AI features; or use the AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or illegal content. Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Your use of EarlyWise is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is collected and processed directly by Waffo (Pancake); EarlyWise never receives or stores your full card number.
EarlyWise is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EarlyWise and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid to EarlyWise in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may stop using EarlyWise and close your account at any time by contacting support@getearlywise.com.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date, with at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect for existing users where practicable.

Information you provide: your account email and password (via Supabase Auth), job application details you enter (company, position, location, salary, job description, notes), and any interview notes you add.
Automatically collected: basic usage and log data needed to operate the service, such as login timestamps.
Payment information: when you purchase AI Credits, payment details are collected and processed directly by Waffo (Pancake), our payment processor. EarlyWise does not receive or store your full card number.
We use your information to: provide and operate the service (store your job tracker data); generate AI Analysis and Prep Questions output when you request it; process AI Credit purchases; respond to support requests; and maintain the security of the service.
We share data with the following service providers, only as needed to operate EarlyWise:
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication and data storage.
• Anthropic (Claude) — processes job descriptions and related inputs you submit, solely to generate AI Analysis and Prep Questions output.
• Waffo (Pancake) — processes payments for AI Credit purchases. Card details are handled entirely by Waffo; we do not store them.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete your job tracker data and account information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records).
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@getearlywise.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.
Our service providers (Supabase, Anthropic, Waffo) may process and store data outside New Zealand. By using EarlyWise, you consent to this transfer, which is necessary to provide the service.
EarlyWise is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date.
